I put a spell on you 🎃✨

Can you tell I'm into these Halloween related titles? Even though I just posted about my love for Autumn, but seeing it's Halloween week I just wanted a chat about my favourite time of year. With all the festivities, fireworks, parties and dressing that goes on. I wanted to share with you all of my favourite things about the holiday.

How many times have you watched Hocus Pocus?

Now I love a good costume as much as the next person, but I'm not to lie I couldn't be annoyed. So me being me I just leave it last minute and just go with it. So here are some of my favourite looks that I've done over these last few years. Wednesday Addams, witch and a cat. So you do you, go all out or just be like my work with what you have. Let me if you're dressing up?

Every year my Granny had a Halloween party (I actually talked about this in my previous post here). If any of you follow me on social media you may have seen that my Granny sadly passed away just over a month ago now. So it's our first Halloween without her it's going to be hard, but it's something that we have to do. To keep her memory going.
I've been off work all week, so I've had a nice relaxing week to myself and it's been great. Like as I'm writing this it's 2.07am on the 28th. I'm currently on my last half hour of Stranger Things 2 and it's unbelievable.
I'm so excited to out with my friends on Saturday night and please don't tell me I'm hungover. Because I'm going to see some fireworks and that's not something I want to do hungover.

Why I love Halloween? As if I haven't waffled enough about it lol
I love seeing all my nephews, niece and cousins all dressed up, I think there are some class costumes these days. I remember wearing a black bag when I was wee for a costume lololol.
The smell of fireworks and the sparklers is my favourite thing, might be a bit weird but embrace the weird.
Can we talk about all of the seasonal stuff that is released? The candles, the decor. I love decorating the house for Halloween, pumpkin carving. Now I usually lose the head when it comes to pumpkin carving. I couldn't get a decent picture but I'm sure I'll have a pic up on Instagram.
Also, Halloween gives me an excuse to watch Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown and The Nightmare before Christmas as much as I want. So it's a win-win.

Tell me all your Halloween stories in the comments

PS, update I finished Strangers by the end of writing this just before 3am, worth every minute.

Love Lauren xx
